A beautiful and practical 10th / tin wedding anniversary gift for her. This compact mirror has a reverse carved Lucite decoration set atop a glittering tin foil insert. At the time this compact was made foil manufactured in Great Britain was made from tin. This vanity is in excellent condition and the mirror gives an accurate reflection. As the original clean white sifter is in place it can still be used with loose face powder. The original pouch and signed puff are also present. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with guilloche engraving. Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 111.7 grams.
