Description

Attractive hand-blown, blue and amber striated art glass vase in the Ming pattern from Mdina Glass c1980's. Ground pontil mark. Signed "Mdina" to its base. 12 cm height. A beautiful and very collectible piece.
This vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.

Eric Dobson and Michael Harris came to Malta from the UK and founded Mdina Glass in 1968. Using traditional artisan techniques Mdina Glass established its growing export markets through quality and innovative designs. In 1987 Mdina Glass won the International Award for Tradition and Prestige in Brussels. The company has kept its glass making at Mdina, Malta.
