Description

Large, striking French Art Deco figure of a prowling panther c1925. Beautifully modelled figure of a panther, realistically capturing its movement. Original patinated spelter finish. The figure is raised on its original stepped portoro marble base. Maximum height is 23 cm. Base measures 65 cm in width by 13 cm in depth. 
This figure is in very good overall condition. No damage to the spelter figure. Extremely minor surface marks. The marble base with a few extremely minor nibbles - most notable being to front right corner. Very good condition is easily visible in images. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Further images available on request.
