Description
Superb large French corniche cased striking repeater brass carriage clock circa 1900. Bevelled panels and bevelled oval top window displaying its original, jewelled lever platform escapement. Roman numerals on a white enamelled dial with blued steel hands. A twin-barrel 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a coiled gong. Push button repeater striking the hour. Supplied with antique double-ended brass key. Height is 13 cm excluding handle (17.5 cm with handle), width 9 cm and depth 8 cm. Excellent time-keeper.Fully cleaned and serviced but retaining its antique brass patina. The clock's movement is covered by our 12 month warranty in the UK.
