Description

Quality French striking brass carriage clock circa 1900. Cannelee brass case with beaded mouldings to handle, cornice, pillars and plinth. 5-glass with bevelled panels and top window displaying its jewelled lever platform escapement. The dial has Arabic numerals on a silvered chapter ring with central filigree detail set in a satin brass mask. Twin barrel, 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and halves on a coiled gong. Supplied with double-ended key. Height is 13cm excluding handle (17cm with handle), width 9cm and depth 8cm. Excellent time-keeper.

Fully cleaned and serviced but retaining its antique brass patina. The clock's movement is covered by our 12 month warranty in the UK.
