A regency period chinoiserie lacquer work and gilt Chinese export work sewing table the black ground profusely decorated with typical oriental gilt decoration the lid opening to reveal the compartment with lids and bone cotton reel standing on decorated pierced trestle supports with turned stretcher on four finely carved gilt wood lions paw feet
Whilst these aren’t used so much as sewing tables they a perfect as lamp or end tables
Signs of wear and use minor restoration commensurate with age
Circa 1820/30
