Fine Early 19th Century Georgian Solid Mahogany Twin Pedestal Dining TableA good quality elegant early 19th-century late Georgian extending mahogany dining table. It features a solid mahogany rectangular top, raised on a pair of beautiful gunbarrel turned pillars with three outswept sabre legs terminating in lion claw brass castors. The table includes two D-shaped end sections and three extra original leaves (49cm), allowing it to extend to accommodate more people (12 seater). The solid Cuban mahogany has great quality and colour. England, circa 1800. The figured mahogany exhibits a rich, warm patina. This elegant dining table is not only a testament to exceptional craftsmanship but also a stunning example of Georgian design, making it an ideal piece for any refined interior.
