French Bronze Sculpture Cherub Feeding A Goat
A small finely cast delightful antique Bronze Sculpture depicting a playful Cherub feeding a goat, beautifully cast with lively movement and expressive detail. The cherub is shown gently interacting with the his goat a charming allegorical scene that reflects mythological subjects in 19th-century French sculpture.

The bronze has a lovely rich, dark patina. It is mounted on its original Basque Breccia marble base.

The bronze is signed Boucher on the back. The quality of casting and attention to anatomical detail suggest a high-grade foundry production.
