A rare and top quality Tiffany & Co Book Slide Quilted Ash veneers fine painted porcelain plaques to each end featuring winged Cherubs one holding a butterfly in one hand and flowers in the other with arrows at his feet the other holding a floral garland sat beside a tambourine , the book slide opens and retracts which grips the books to keep them tight "Self closing bookslide" engraved plaque this mechanism is in full working order and retracts on it own with out any assistance , the central plaques is engraved Tiffany & Co .40cm closed opening to 66cm
