Edward Bawden Gilbeys Gin Beermat Coaster Set

Description
A rare and complete set of 12 Gilbey's gin coasters titled 'The Signs We Drink under' designed by Edward Bawden and initialed 'EB'. Each one represents a different sign of the zodiac and features an amusing, drink related horoscope on the reverse. Line drawn from linocuts. Unframed. All are completely intact and free from rips or tears. Just some minor wear from use and light staining to Capricorn (see photos). The previous owner had displayed them by pinning them to a board, and a pin mark is evident in the top centre of each coaster. Each card is 10cm x 10cmDate1950s :
