Description

This is a gorgeous example of a vintage leather suitcase in immaculate condition. An absolute quality piece of luggage made by British luggage makers Pendragon. Pendragon later became Papworth who quality luggage up until the late 1990s.

It is an extremely fine example of a quality piece of vintage luggage. Suitcases of this age are a wonderful piece of history and evoke reflection of the golden ages of travel, transatlantic travel, steam trains & even the very first flights.

It is made from thick handsewn cowhide & benefits from reinforced leather corners and chrome locks which work as they should. The interior is also in good condition & has leather straps to secure the load.

This fantastic suitcase would make great storage for toys, blankets & books. It could also still be used as a travelling suitcase or, props for a wedding or photography.

The suitcase dates from the mid part of the 20th Century, circa the 1950s.

Postage

Please note my dispatch time can be up to 4 working days – please let me know if you would like a quicker dispatch time & I will happily accommodate.
For larger items I use a private local courier, this can take 2 weeks, I will keep you abreast with timings & endeavour to get the item to you as quick as possible.
I would always combine postage on multiple purchases if possible. Collection from IP12, Woodbridge, Suffolk is always welcome.

Any lamps without wiring may be dismantled for postage - this allows for the most economical postage charges for the customer.

For electrical goods - I do not endorse any wiring. Even when PAT tested - I take no responsibility for the current wiring. Any wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
