Description

This is a great example of an antique canvas steamer trunk with wooden bands, it is a quality piece of antique luggage with studded initials to the top of the trunk & painted panels to all sides of the trunk which make this a stand out piece of furniture.

It is made from light brown canvas, with bent birchwood banding. There are leather handles to the sides & the central lock is made from brass. The interior is in clean condition & has been stripped back to the original wood.

This fantastic trunk would make great storage for toys, blankets & books or as a coffee table. It could also be used as a prop for a wedding or photography.

The suitcase dates from the early part of the 20th Century, circa the 1930s.

For larger items I use a private local courier, this can take 2 weeks, I will keep you abreast with timings & endeavour to get the item to you as quick as possible.

Any lamps without wiring may be dismantled for postage - this allows for the most economical postage charges for the customer.
