Decorative pair of Brass Candle Sconces showing vases of sunflowers and anemones in repousse work, dating from c. 1870.
The candle sconces are adjustable and can be used in different positions according to taste. The decoration of the sconces is typical of the aesthetic movement, championed by enthusiasts such as Oscar Wilde and Aubrey Beardsley.
