This excellent example of early 20th century shell cameo bracelet has 5 beautifully carved shells, depicting famous Italian landscapes and architecture in various cities, such as Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa and Naples (with a smoky Vesuvius in the background).

A lovely continental grand tour souvenir type piece, set in 800 silver.

The length of the bracelet approximately 17.5 cm, so it’s a fit for a small wrist.

The diameter of the panels is 2 cm each.

Condition: one of the metal links is a replacement, otherwise excellent for age. No damage to the cameos that I can see.

A rare gem of outstanding craftsmanship and a genuine collector’s piece.
