This is a lovely vintage English 9 carat gold ring.

It’s a beautifully crafted piece depicting two intertwined snakes in lovely details.

Snakes - being the symbols of eternal love – have inspired jewellery throughout history and pieces like this one were often given as tokens of love.

The ring is fully hallmarked for Birmingham and year ‘1987’.
