Description

This silver standing compendium dates to the first half of the 18th Century. It is a lady's accessory for both embroidery and writing - consisting of a thimble, needle case, reel for thread, and a small compartment for wax wafers for use with the seal on the base. The compendium is of Dutch or German origin.

The compendium stands 7cm tall and weighs 25g

Terms and conditions
We only operate online and therefore viewing in person is not available. In the unlikely event that you wish to return an item, you should contact us as soon as possible. We will then arrange for you to return the item at the buyer's expense.

A refund will be issued (less outgoing shipping costs) providing the item is returned to us within three working days of receipt. All items must arrive back to us in the same condition as they left.
