Description
An attractive antique chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.The chair sits on four turned legs on castors.
The chair has a well padded seat cushion and backrest and has been newly upholstered in a yellow and grey tartan fabric. The scroll arms, supports and legs all have an attractive inlaid design.
The chair has an overall height of 34.5" (88cm), an overall width of 23.5" (60cm), an overall depth of 24" (61cm), a backrest height of 21.5" (55cm), a seat height of 12.5" (32cm), a seat width of 19.5" (50cm) and a seat depth of 18.5" (47cm).
The chair is in good condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage with some minor wear to the arms and legs.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
