Description

A lovely carved oriental carved bureau. We date this bureau to the second half of the 20th century.

The bureau features lovely oriental circular chinese carvings on the front of the drop flap and the drawers, the carvings on the drawers act as recessed handles.

The drop flap lowers to reveal the fitted interior, which consists of numerous pigeon holes and a small drawer.

The lower section has four drawers arranged two over two.

The bureau has a height of 42" (107cm), a width of 36" (92cm) and a depth of 18" (45cm).

This lovely bureau remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.

This remains a simple yet stylish and elegant bureau. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
