Description

A lovely brass fire screen. We date this screen to the first half of the 20th century.

The screen has a lovely heavy brass frame with a foliate designed handle along the top. The centre mirror has a bevel edge with a hand painted scene of red and white roses.

The screen is 30" (76cm) high, 22" (56cm) wide at the feet and 8" (21cm) deep at the feet.

This lovely screen remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.

This remains a stylish and elegant fire screen which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
