Description

A lovely Victorian footstool. We date this stool to the late 19th century.

The stool sits on four cabriole legs and is upholstered in a golden striped velour fabric with braid edging.

The stool has a higher rear edge to support the feet comfortably.

The stool has a height of 8" (20cm) at the rear and 6.6” (16cm) to the front. The stool has a width of 44" (112cm) at the feet and a depth of 10" (26cm) at the feet.

This stool remains in a good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some minor wear and light indentations to some edges and the material from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant stool. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
