Description

A lovely military mahogany bookcase. We date this bookcase to the mid 20th century.

The bookcase is supplied as a single section and sits on a plain recessed plinth base.

The bookcase has one adjustable wooden shelf.

There is a military crows foot stamp to the rear of the bookcase.

The bookcase has an overall height of 28.5" (72cm), a width of 30” (76cm) and a depth of 10" (26cm). The shelves have a depth of 9.5" (25cm).

This lovely open bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The bookcase has some minor wear and indentation marks to the finish and to some of the edges. There is also a dent to the top surface towards the rear edge.

This remains a very stylish and elegant bookcase. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
