Description

A lovely mahogany drinks cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 20th century.

The cabinet sits on four bracket feet and comes in one section consisting of a top section above a base cupboard.

The top section is of a two panel design with side hinged doors. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock with a decorative brass escutcheon (key supplied), the left hand door has a top catch. Both doors are fitted with drop handles.

The interior of the top cabinet is fitted with a mirrored back, glass base and two removable glass shelves, one has a cut out area to the front. Below there is a pull out shelf with two small button handles. There is a light fitting to the top, the wire has been cut at the rear of the cabinet.

The base cupboard has a side hinged door with a frontage of three faux drawers each fitted with two drop handles mounted on decorative backplates. The interior of the base cupboard is fitted with a full width drawer to the top.

The cabinet has a height of 53.5" (135cm), a width of 22.5" (63cm) and a depth of 19" (49cm).

This lovely vintage drinks cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear and indents to some of the edges including a few corners as can be seen in the pictures.

This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
