Description

A lovely bow front chest. We date this chest to the mid 20th century.

There is a label inside the top drawer for Beithcraft Furniture, manufactured in Ayrshire, West of Scotland.

The chest sits on four bracket legs with pad feet and a small plain gallery to the rear.

The main chest consists of five graduated drawers fitted with ornate drop handles mounted on decorative backplates.

The chest has a height of 48.5" (123cm), a width of 35" (89cm) at feet and a depth of 20.5" (52cm) at its deepest.

This lovely bow front chest remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor wear and scratches.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
