Description

An attractive oak church chair. We date this chair to the second half of the 20th century.

The chair sits on four square section legs with a H stretcher and is very heavy.

The chair has a high back with a Celtic cross carving to the top and an arched shaped carving on the rear of the backrest. The arm rests have a carved rounded front. The seat area has a loose royal blue fabric seat pad.

The chair has a height of 52" (133cm) with a backrest height of 34.5" (88cm), an overall depth of 24" (62cm), a seat height of 18" (46cm), a seat width of 20.5" (52cm) and a seat depth of 19.5" (50cm).

This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks around the feet and armrests.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. That is supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest for many years to come.
