Description

A lovely set of five small stacking desks. We date these desks to the mid 20th century.

The desks came from a church that used them for Sunday school.

The desks sit on pink painted steel frames that can be easily stacked.

The desk tops are wooden with the body of the desk painted pink on the outside, the desks have a wooden top with an area to the rear for pens and a well where the ink would have sat in the past. The hinged top lifts to reveal a storage area.

A desk has a height of 20" (51cm), a width of 25" (63cm) at widest and a depth of 17.5" (45cm).

These well loved desks remain in very good solid condition with only surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of wear to the painted frames as can be seen in photos with some wear, marks and some old paint marks to wooden table tops.

These remain very stylish and elegant desks which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
