A lovely teak bookcase. We date this bookcase to the second half of the 20th century.

The bookcase is supplied as a single section.

The bookcase has two side hinged glazed doors with an arched shape to the glass. The interior of the bookcase is fitted with four shelves, three are adjustable.

The bookcase has an overall height of 75" (190cm), a width of 35.5” (90cm) and a depth of 15" (38cm). The shelves have a depth of 14" (35cm).

This lovely teak bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor wear to the finish. The bookcase has had the wire cut to a light behind the fixed shelf at some time in the past. The adjustable shelves have been later added and have some wear, a couple of shelf supports have been replaced with screws. There is a small chipped area to the front of the base at the right hand side. The shelves have been taken from another unit and its possible to see the markings to the undersides.

This remains a very stylish and elegant bookcase. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
