Description

A lovely office writing desk. We date this desk to around the mid 20th century.

The desk sits on four downward tapered legs, and has a floating banana top with a red writing surface with a concave shaped front.

Below the left hand side of the table top there is a shelf area over three drawers, the right hand side has a shelf area over one drawer and a filing drawer. The drawers have a slightly angled shape, front and back.

The desk has a height of 30" (76cm), a width of 55" (140cm) and a depth of 24" (61cm) at its deepest.

This attractive desk remains in very good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks and light scratches around some edges from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant writing desk. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
