Description

A lovely pair of antique mahogany dining chairs. We date these dining chairs to the early 20th century.

The chairs sit on two cabriole legs at the front and two shapely legs at the rear.

The chairs have attractive carved splat backrests and serpentine front seat pads upholstered in a gold floral fabric.

The chairs are 36.5" (93cm) high, 18.5“ (47cm) wide, 18” (46cm) deep. They have a backrest height of 20" (50cm), a seat height of 16.5" (42cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a depth of 16.5" (42cm).

This lovely pair of dining chairs remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The fabric has some marks and wear, primarily to the front where the padding has slightly flattened from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of dining chairs. They will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
