Description

An attractive Victorian armchair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.

The chair sits on lovely well turned legs at the front and splayed legs at the rear all with original castors.

The chair has a well padded rounded back that curves down to the armrests. The chair has a fixed sprung seat cushion and is upholstered in a pale pink velour material with a piped edge.

The chair is comfortable to sit on, while the backrest provides excellent support for the back.

The chair has an overall height of 34" (87cm), an overall width of 27" (69cm), an overall depth of 30" (77cm), a backrest height of 20" (51cm), a seat height of 14.5" (37cm), a seat width of 19" (49cm) and a seat depth of 22" (56cm).

The chair is in good condition with surface marks commensurate with age and usage, including some wear and marks. Please note that we have not attempted to have the material professionally cleaned. The rear of the chair has a couple of marks to the material where it has rubbed against something at some time in the past.

This remains a very stylish and elegant antique armchair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
