Description

A lovely teak sideboard. We date this sideboard to the 1960/70s.

The main cabinet consists of a bank of four drawers at the left hand side and a cupboard to the right. The cupboard has two side hinged doors with a recessed mid height full width shelf.

The top drawer is divided and lined in baize for cutlery.

The top drawer and cupboard doors have brass button handles and the lower drawers have brass bridge handles.

There is a label for Morris Of Glasgow inside a cupboard door.

The sideboard has a height of 30" (77cm) with a width of 72" (183cm) and a depth of 18" (46cm).

This lovely teak sideboard has been constructed to a high standard and remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some wear and indentation lines to the top surface. The sideboard has noticeable mellowing to the finish throughout. There is a small indentation area to the left hand side panel.

This remains a very stylish and elegant sideboard which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
