Description

An attractive oriental bench. We date this bench to the second half of the 20th century.

The bench sits on four rectangular section legs carved legs with stretchers. The bench has a solid seat area with shapely carvings under the seating at the top of the legs front and rear.

The bench has an overall height of 17" (44cm), with a width of 47.5" (121cm), and a depth of 12.5” (32cm).

This attractive bench remains in good solid condition, with surface marking commensurate with age and usage. The seat area has some wear to the finish including some dark marks and a small chip to the edge.

This remains a very stylish and elegant bench which could also function as a smart hall bench etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
