Description

A lovely antique flame mahogany bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.

The cabinet sits on a plain plinth base with canted corners. The top surface has a lovely fixed marble top.

The cabinet has a drawer and cupboard that are fitted with white ceramic handles. The cupboard has a panelled door and is fitted with one internal shelf.

The cabinet has an overall height of 32.5" (83cm), a width of 14.5" (37cm) and a depth of 14" (36cm).

This attractive cabinet remains in good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is an age split to the outer left hand side. There are a few marks and a little bit of wear to the marble top. There are some old worm holes that have been treated twice to make sure.

This remains a very stylish & elegant cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
