Description

An attractive Victorian overmantle mirror. We date this overmantle mirror to the second half of the 19th century.

The mirror consists of a central mirror flanked either side by a decorative semi circular shelf.

There is a registration number (No 34) on the back of the mirror.

The mirror has a height of 24" (61cm), a width of 38" (97cm) at the base and a depth of 6" (16cm) at the deepest.

This lovely mirror remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some chips to the gold paintwork, primarily to the front edges. It may benefit from repainting at some point in the future.

This remains a stylish and elegant Victorian mirror and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
