Description

A lovely Art Deco dressing table. We date this dressing table to the 1930's.

The dressing table is of a twin pedestal design, with each pedestal sitting on a plinth front base. There is a decorative arched shaped kneehole space.

The dressing table is provided with a large circular mirror.

The main table consists of a central protruding long drawer with curved ends, flanked either side by a lovely painted carving in autumn colours. The drawers are fitted with decorative handles on circular backplates. The top of the dressing table has a rounded edge to the sides.

The dressing table has a height of 58"(148cm) (including mirror), a table height of 25" (64cm), a width of 44.5" (113cm) and a depth of 19" (49cm).

This lovely dressing table remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some wear to the top surface and some edges including the base. The mirror glass is thick and is showing some minor signs of foxing and a couple of tiny chips around some of the edge.

This remains a very stylish and elegant dressing table which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
