Description

We date this purdonium to the early 20th Century.

The purdonium sits on four ceramic castors with a front drop door and has its internal liner.

The purdonium has decorative serpentine shaped edges to the table top surface and attractive moldings to the front panel. There are ornate brass drop handles mounted on decorative backplates to the drop front and both sides of the purdonium.

The purdonium has a height of 25" (64cm) with a width of 17" (43cm) and a depth of 16" (41cm).

This purdonium remains in a good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor marks to the top surface and some of the edges. There is a small minor age split at the base of the rear panel and it is missing its shovel, this should be easily replaced if required.

This remains a very stylish and useful purdonium. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
