Description

A lovely serpentine front sideboard. We date this sideboard to the late 20th century.

The sideboard is a very high quality reproduction and sits on six downward tapered square section legs with spade feet, four at the front and two at the rear.

The sideboard has a central wide drawer flanked by two drawers at each side with the top drawers fitted with dividers for silverware.

The sideboard has a lovely shaped gallery that matches the shape of the sideboard front with a small rear central storage area with two tambour doors.

The drawer fronts have lovely flamed mahogany veneers with inlaid edgings, the legs have a matching inlay.

The sideboard has an overall height of 40.5" 103cm), a table top height of 35” (89cm), a width of 54" (137cm) and a depth of 21" (53cm) at its deepest.

This attractive mahogany sideboard remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.There are some minor surface marks and some very light scratches from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant sideboard. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
