Description

A lovely burr walnut chest. We date this chest to the first half of the 20th century.

There is a Reprodux label inside the top drawer.

The chest sits on four queen anne style cabriole legs with round pad feet.

The main chest consists of three serpentine front drawers. The drawers are fitted with pairs of shapely drop handles mounted on decorative backplates.

The chest has a drop flap with a fold out support at each side.

The chest has a height of 29" (74cm), a width of 24" (60cm) when closed and a depth at deepest of 16" (41cm).

The chest opens up to a width of 37.5 (96cm) when both flaps are open.

This lovely burr walnut chest remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor wear to some of the edges and feet from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant small burr walnut chest which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
