Description

A lovely mahogany tallboy. We date this tallboy to the 1920s.

The tallboy sits on splayed feet with a shapely apron to the front and sides with plain bracket feet to the rear.

The tallboy consists of a top cupboard with a removable shelf. The cupboard has two side hinged doors, the right hand side door is fitted with a lock and the left hand side has a top and bottom catch.

Below there are three graduated drawers also fitted with locks and decorative drop handles mounted on backplates (key is supplied).

The tallboy has a height of 48.5" (123cm), a width of 30" (77cm) and a depth of 22" (56cm) at its deepest.

This lovely mahogany tallboy remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of wear to some of the edges and very minor scratches to the top surface from past use. The doors have had repairs to old age splits in the past.

This remains a very stylish and elegant tallboy which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
