Description

An attractive vintage leather chesterfield armchair. We date this chair to the late 20th century.

The armrests continue up from the front of the chair and have been heavily overstuffed to form the classic scroll end. The chair sits on four castors.

The armrests and backrest are well padded. The seat base has a loose cushion.

The chair is upholstered in oxblood red leather with deep stitched button detail on the armrests, front rail and backrest. The front of the armrests have metal stud detail.

The chair has an overall height of 25.5" (65cm), an overall width of 40" (102cm), an overall depth of 35.5" (90cm), a backrest height of 12" (30cm), a seat height of 15.5" (40cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 22" (56cm).

This attractive vintage oxblood leather chair remains in a solid condition. The leather has some very minor wear from past use, primarily to the seat pad.

This remains a very stylish and elegant leather chesterfield chair. It is both comfortable and supportive to sit on. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
