Description

A lovely mahogany side table. We date this table to the 1920s.

The table sits on four lovely carved Queen Anne legs with claw and ball feet and a curved stretcher.

The table top has a lovely crossbanded inlaid edge, there is a lovely carved edge and it has front canted corners.

The main table is fitted with two full width drawers. The drawers are each fitted with two decorative swan neck handles mounted on circular pierced back plates. The drawers are lined with green baize and fitted with locks (No key is supplied but one could be obtained if required).

The table has an overall height of 31" (79cm), a width of 36" (92cm) and a depth of 19" (48cm).

This lovely table remains in a good solid condition. The table has a few minor marks, these are primarily to the table top which has some slight indentations and a light ring mark from past use. The table finish has some very minor mellowing.

This remains a very stylish and elegant antique side table which could function equally well as a hall or side table, a small writing desk or as a small dressing table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
