Description

A lovely large antique French Art Deco carved oak wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the 1930s.

The wardrobe could be fully disassembled for delivery as it bolts together.

The wardrobe sits on wide shapely feet at the front and oblong section feet at the rear. The wardrobe has a recessed cornice.

The front of the wardrobe is of a three panel design with the central panel featuring a large mirrored door, the mirror glass is thick and bevelled. There are ornate carvings at the top of the outer doors.

The two outer doors are fitted with Art Deco handles and backplates. The wardrobe is fitted with locks (key supplied).

The interior of the left hand hanging section is fitted with a side to side full width hanging rail and a narrow shelf at the top rear. The right hand section is fitted with three removable shelves.

The wardrobe has a height of 80.5" (205cm), a base width of 71" (181cm) and a base depth of 24" (61cm).

The wardrobe has a hanging depth of 21” (53cm).

This lovely large Art Deco wardrobe remains in good condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the handles and some light nibbling to some edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant large mirror door triple wardrobe which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
