Description
A lovely oak bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the first half of the 20th century. The cabinet sits on a shapely apron at the front and has a lovely recessed marble top of black, greys, reds and whites.
The cabinet has a single drawer over a split level shelf area. Below there is a small cupboard to the left and a small lower drawer to the right.
The cabinet has lovely carvings on the top drawer front and on the cupboard door. The cabinet is fitted with Art Deco handles.
The cabinet has an overall height of 27" (68cm), a width of 20" (51cm) and a depth of 16" (41cm).
This attractive cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The marble top has a split through the middle and the handles are showing a bit of wear.
This remains a very stylish & elegant cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
