Description

A lovely arts and crafts fire screen. We date this screen to the very early 20th century.

The tapestry consists of a copper shield with an embossed design of pomegranate with foliage mounted onto a black steel frame.

The screen is 29" (73cm) high, 18" (46cm) wide and 9" (23cm) deep at feet.

This lovely screen remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The copper shield has a few very light indentations.

This remains a stylish and elegant fire screen which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
