Description

A lovely Victorian burr walnut credenza. We date this credenza to the second half of the 19th century.

The credenza sits on a plain plinth base. It consists of a central cupboard with two mirror doors and a canted mirrored door cupboard to each side. The doors have very decorative carved mouldings to the frames of the mirrors and to the sides of each cupboard.

The doors are fitted with locks (a key is supplied) and the interior of each section is fitted with a shelf.

There is a white and light grey marble sheet to the top surface.

The credenza has a height of 37" (94cm), a width of 72" (183cm) and a depth of 20.5" (52cm).

This lovely Victorian walnut credenza remains in good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks to the marble top from past use, the mirrors have some foxing and very slight wear to some edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant Victorian burr walnut credenza. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
