Description

A 17th century and later side table. Of typical form and constructed from oak, this side table has a plank top with cleated ends, a later single drawers with drop handles and brass escutcheon in the centre. Below are four turned legs, which terminate on block feet - joined by peripheral stretchers. The front and left side stretchers are later restorations, along with the block feet being (tipped) at the bottom of both front legs, commensurate with age.
The table has a lovely cruddy untouched patina and would look superb in a period setting.
