Description

A large 18th century burr oak bowl made by a "bodger" who would turn green timber on a pole lathe from freshly felled trees.
The bowl itself has a few cracks with a tiny hole in the middle commensurate with age but otherwise is in good condition with a fantastic burr grain and excellent patina.
