A mid 20th century coin collectors chest. It is well made and very solid/heavy (32kg). It was probably a commission piece and purpose made rather than a mass produced piece. All the drawers are in very good order, running very smoothly indeed and all finished cleanly. The lacquer finish is in good order with an all round even colour. Free from worm, damage and or large stains other than some very small old marks/scratches under the lacquer to the top, commensurate with age.
