Description

A rustic set of Early Victorian country oak chest of drawers. This set being on the smaller side with two short drawers over three long drawers and having bracket feet. The drawers are made from solid oak panels throughout with a real country style to them being relatively crudely made. However extremely solid and they have a great feel to them. Each drawer has brass pull handles with a brass plate behind. The three lower drawers have a brass escutcheon over a key hole, however they are o longer lockable. Beautiful colour and patina. circa 1840
