Description

A large slate Parisian mantel clock by A D Mougin. This delightful piece features an 8-day mechanical movement striking on a bell. The dial is white enamelled with black Roman numerals and a numbered outer chapter ring. The case is made of black slate with many brass and copper adornments of leaves, grapes, lion heads etc. circa 1899. NB please see images of the case as there are a few chips to the edges however it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece. JW-11
