Description

A rare draughtsmans chair from WWII , made by R Tyzack for the war department in 1943. Made of solid oak featuring a circular foot rest with an adjustable back rest and height adjustable blue leather upholstered seat. Tyzack were based in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire and also made aircraft parts. The chair is stamped 1943, GVI R with a crown. This piece is in lovely condition and is fully functioning, the leather has been replaced at some point however it has been replaced with the same colour as the original chairs. Seat Height adjusts from 61cm-71cm
